Police Chief Jim Eldridge has 28 years in Law Enforcement. He has served as Deputy Chief and Commander of Special Services for Putnam County, TN. He was appointed Chief of Algood Police Department in 2005. He believes that close communication with businesses and residents is the key to keeping Algood safe. He has established an active program with the Algood School and has been successful in starting an active Business Owners Group.
